Useful stuff
Links
This page contains additional information. It is NOT relevant for the exam. Rather, these resources allow you to get deeper into R should you want to. I do strongly encourage you to read the first part of the Tidyverse style guide (Analyses), as it will help you better understand how to write readable code that you still understand two weeks after you have written it. Those resources are more challenging than the relevant course readings. They might be particularly useful for those thinking about writing a quantitative dissertation in Politics or IR (which I, of course, strongly encourage).
The data resources are mostly links to typical datasets used in different political science subfields. The list is by no means exhaustive. I would encourage you do click through those and familiarise yourself with the kinds of data out there. One particular useful skill is to learn how to read a codebook for the data. A codebook contains detailed information on the types of variables contained in a dataset and how those data were collected.
